Singapore Poker Federation

The Poker Federation of Singapore (PFS) was established on March 17, 2009, under the Societies Act of Singapore, with the vision of transforming poker into a recognized mind sport in Singapore and beyond. Formerly known as the Asian Poker Foundation, PFS has evolved into the official governing body for poker in Singapore, dedicated to fostering a community that values skill, strategy, and sportsmanship.

PFS was founded on the belief that poker is more than just a game—it is a sport that challenges the mind, promotes critical thinking, and builds emotional resilience. As a proud member of the International Federation of Match Poker (IFMP) and recognized by the International Mind Sports Association (IMSA), PFS is committed to elevating poker to its rightful place as a globally respected sport.

Since its inception, PFS has worked tirelessly to:
- Promote poker as a healthy, skill-based activity that enhances mental agility and strategic thinking.
- Build a philanthropic culture within the poker community, using charity poker events to support underprivileged communities in Singapore and Asia.
- Represent Singapore on the international stage, competing in prestigious tournaments such as the Nations Cup and the World Championship of Match Poker.

Today, PFS stands as a beacon of excellence in the poker community, uniting players, enthusiasts, and advocates under a shared mission to redefine poker as a sport of skill, strategy, and integrity.
